How to reach Hvar?

There are two ferry ports on the island of Hvar; Stari Grad and Sućuraj. Stari Grad port is connected to Split and it is closer to Hvar (20 km) and drive to Hvar lasts about 10 minutes.Jadrolinija is the main boat operator and has all main ferry and boat lines in Croatia.With car/passenger ferries, high-speed catamarans & yachts, getting to Hvar can be as fast, leisurely, exciting or economical as you'd like it to be.

Out of season ferry from Split to Stari Grad sails 3-4 times a day and from Drvenik to Sućuraj 6-7 times.

During summer season (july, august), ferry from Split to Stari Grad sails 4-7 times a day and from Drvenik to Sucuraj 12-20 times. Ferries from Italy sail only during summer season.
